We are back after our honeymoon and back to reality!!

Just a quick message to say thank you, we had a wonderful wedding. You were truly fantastic and your organisational skills do you credit, everyone was so complimentary about every aspect of the wedding! The food was amazing and so was the cake!

Hopefully see you in Tuscany soon, we are already planning our next vacation!

David and I got married in Certaldo in April. We chose Happenings to organise our wedding due to their professionalism and knowledge of the local area and services. Mascia became our wedding coordinator and was fantastic! She arranged everything from the venue, catering to flowers and all were stunning! Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we were completely overwhelmed and so were our guests! The weather was glorious, the service was beautiful and the reception was magnificent. I have never tasted such good quality food and wine, it was divine! We have certainly started a trend of our friends getting married in Italy!!! Overall I would highly recommend contacting Mascia to organise any event, we're going back for our anniversary!!

"We had a fantastic wedding celebration in Italy. The venue, the food and the wine was just perfect you really made us feel like royalty the night of the party. But what really made the difference were the fantastic open and welcoming spirit of the Italian people whom we met and stayed with. My husband Brett and I we thrilled that we chose Mascia as our wedding coordinator.  I think I spoke with 8-9 wedding coordinators before deciding to meet Mascia -- what a great choice!  She made everything so simple for us, was able to anticipate our needs and answered the many, many emails filled with questions I sent her with great care and detail.  We could not have had the wonderful day we did without her. 

Her recommendations were spot on with what we were looking for.  I think that this is a testament to not only her knowledge of the area but also to the fact that she really took the time to get to know us as a couple.  We chose to get married in a gorgeous villa outside of San Giamiagno in Tuscany called Il Defizio. It was absolutely idyllic -- gorgeous views, a wonderful suite and the owners/staff made us feel like we were getting married at a family home.  And, with Mascia planning everything, my groom and I spent our wedding day tooling around a small village then he picked up some wine & cheese for a light lunch while I got my hair done.  We spent the bulk of the afternoon, just the two of us, lounging by the pool and relaxing together before we went our separate ways to prepare for the ceremony.  The villa had an amazing 5- course meal prepared specifically for us w/ a romantic table, candlelight, flowers and music....again, just perfect.  And David, www.fotobastianoni.com, the photographer Mascia recommended did gorgeous shots -- very unique that captured us and the beautiful scenery surrounding us. 

Again, having Mascia do all the preparations for our ceremony definitely enabled my husband and I too relax throughout the entire experience.   Which was great as we wanted to be married just the two of us but were busy planning a 120 person reception a month after our honeymoon on the East coast (we live in LA)....if only we had had a Masica for that as well!

We arrived home from our honeymoon just a little while ago and are really enjoying married life, but we can't believe how fast everything has happened since the ceremony! Hello Mascia,

I am sorry that it has taken me so long to write to you!  After we returned home from our honeymoon, we finished off the summer months with lots of camping and visiting family - and of course we finally got to tell everyone about our wonderful time on our honeymoon, and our big surprise of our symbolic ceremony!   Many of our family members cried when they saw our beautiful photo's, and all of them commented on what a wonderful surprise this was.  

Knut and I still talk about the wedding on a daily basis, and we are still cherishing all of the beautiful memories!  We were so happy to watch our DVD and see all of the photo's that David took - he is so talented, and wonderful.  We want to thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for helping to create one of the best days of our lives!

I hope all is well in Italy, and in your life.  I am wondering if you could give me your mailing address at the Villa, because I have something to send you.  Also, I am wondering if you could email a copy of our ceremony (both in English and Italian) as we would love to read this again and possibly frame the words on a nice piece of paper.  We loved the words in the ceremony, and would love to have a copy.

Other than that, here are some pictures for you that David took (of course).  If you cannot open them, let me know and I will send them in a different way. Please feel free to use them in any way that you want (either on your website or to send other people).  Also, if there is anything else that I can do to help you with the business side of things (testimonials etc) please let us know.

What an absolutely fantastic band!

Julian's family and friends are musical (there were professional conductors, organists and many excellent amateur musicians attending) and they absolutely loved the music that was played! We were most impressed that the singer learned the words to our "first dance" on the night, that the singer could skit so fantastically, that the pianist recognised that the bridesmaid was dancing and improvised on "Winnie the Pooh" for her ' and that the drummer could alternate the rhythms so well - when the expectations were so high musically, we could not have asked for more!

They were all consummate professionals & an encore was requested as they were so good!
