Our wedding was nearly 2 months ago and we are finally getting back to reality. After our wedding we spent two weeks in Tuscany with a few of our friends and then came home to a reception party for 400 people. Now we can finally relax and enjoy our memories.

We want to thank you both so much for the fantastic job you did in making our dream wedding come true. Because of you, we got to experience the fairy tale! Anchiano in Vinci was the perfect setting for our small intimate wedding. You made Alex and I and my parents feel as if we were the most important people in the world. You took care of everything for us. It was the "little touches" that meant the most to us like ensuring extra chairs were set up and draped with white linens and roses to represent the memory of my grandparents at our wedding. The wine tasting you arranged for our wedding luncheon was absolutely perfect! It combined our two favorite passions - food and wine! Having a simple wine tasting with lunch gave us time to sit and enjoy the day with each other and take in the memories. As we tell our friends about the wine tasting luncheon, they are amazed at the wonderful alternative idea you provided.

We also want to thank you for recommending David for our photographer. He did a fantastic job with the pictures. He captured all the perfect moments of our wedding that we will always treasure and remember. Our friends and family were amazed by the scenery and the views that David captured in our pictures. The picture of my father "walking me down the aisle" on a stone path through a grove of olive trees is amazing. And the picture of Alex and I standing at the overlook looking out to the countryside with the sun breaking through the clouds above us is absolutely breath taking. We can not thank David enough for the beautiful memories that he captured for us.

And we can not thank you enough for sending us the picture CDs by overnight mail to ensure we had them for our wedding reception back home. The CDs arrived two days before our reception. Everyone at our reception loved the pictures!

We would never have had the perfect fairy tale wedding if it was not for all your effort and assistance. You made our small intimate wedding in Vinci the most memorable day we could have ever imagined. Thank you for that gift!

Dear Chiara and Mascia,

We have just arrived home with a lot of amazing memories on our wedding day. It was really a fantastic day and all our guests were really enjoying the wedding and their stay at Borgo dei Lunardi.

Also at Borgo dei Lunardi it went very smoothly and also my compliments for Stefano who was very flexible in everything.

Also David and Pamela were very professional and most important relaxed. Pamela even did my nails when she noticed last minute that I had totally forgotten about it. That was so nice of her! And my hair and make up lasted the whole day, so quality of work was also very good!

And about David: he was so cute (and had a very nice car....;-)) It was a pleasure working with him and what we have seen when he left we are really looking forward to receiving the albums...

And the two of you were also great. I was really happy that we had met the day before the wedding, as I got a little bit nervous... But, even with busses full with children and tourists, it went fine.

As you can see in this e-mail we will always remember this day and the week we stayed at Borgo dei Lunardi, also our friends and family will always remember this. We will recommend you and your partners (Pamela, David, Borgo dei Lunardi and you) to every one who is only thinking on having their wedding in Italy.

How are you??? We are finally back from our trip and before another day goes by, I wanted to send you this email to congratulate you all and thank you for the amazing work you and everyone else did at our wedding. You can not imagine how thankful we all are, including both our parents, for all the effort that was put to make sure everything worked out perfect.

Everything was amazing, starting from the overall organisation to the amazing flower compositions, the food and catering, the choir, the settings both the church and Villa...

For this reason and since we don't have every ones email address, I would appreciate if you could congratulate and thank on our behalf Chiara Trallori for the choir which was amazing, Gianluca for the flowers which were spectacular and everyone commented on how amazing they were, Filippo for the food and overall service which everyone told us the food and aperitifs were delicious and the service perfect, David for the photographs which although we have not yet seen them, I am sure they will be great and of course Don Luciano for the beautiful ceremony he did.

I can't believe how time as flown since our wedding!!

The location was excellent, the Town Hall looked stunning and Osteria del Vicario was even more picturesque than I remembered! The food, the wine and Sara's hospitality were superb. The album that David made is stunning, the little albums were well received by our families and having the cd with all the photo's has been so useful. Also, the bouquets were perfect, exactly like the picture I sent you!

Ciao Chiara!

We are back in Ireland and although life is starting to return to normal, everyone is still talking about our wedding! Everything about our wedding in Italy was truly fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Before the wedding of course we were worried about some of the details but we need not have worried about a thing. All of the suppliers recommended by YSH were really exceptional! As music is so important to us we were really happy with all the music provided on the day, we especially appreciated the Irish touches with the soprano learning "She moves through the fair" and the DJ playing "the devil is dead and buried in Killarney"! The Basin Street quartet were really super and added so much to the fantastic atmosphere on the day.

All of the catering provided by Convivium was really delicious and everyone keeps telling us that the wedding cake was the best they had every had! We really want to thank you and Mascia for making everything run so smoothly on the day. We know you did a lot of running around in the background to ensure we didn't have to worry about anything (including moving churches at the last minute!). The finishing touch was arranging to keep the party going until 2.30am as us Irish were really enjoying the party thanks to DJ Antonio!

Thanks also for sending over the fabulous photos by email as we showed them at our Dublin party. These went down really well and gave everyone an idea of how fantastic our wedding in Italy was!

So all in all many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they were ever at. That is certainly true for us and we would really recommend YSH to anyone else getting married in Italy.

How are you both keeping??!! I hope the Italian sun is still shining as it was for us on June 18th, and that the wedding season is in full flow for you!!

Well I have been putting off sending this email because it feels like the end of our correspondance and the end of an era!! But we must move on and so I write this final email regarding our wedding to thank you both sooooo much for helping to make our wedding day so wonderful and even more perfect than we had dared imagine!

Every little detail was so well planned by you both - from the Church to the Villa, from the car to the photographer, from the caterers to the dj - all your recommendations and suppliers were superb.

Especially, and I would like you to pass on this email to him if possible, we wanted to send special thanks to David Bastianoni for his wonderful photography and the casual manner in which he captured the memories of the day for us. All our guests were amazed by the Video Projection after the meal, and that, as well as our beautiful cake, are among our very special memories. We received our Wedding album and discs yesterday, and were so excited to re-live the day all over again.

We had a wonderful week in Tuscany, as did all our guests, and I think we will all be back at some stage in the not-too-distant future, Cian and I definitely will - if not for our first anniversary then maybe for our second!! We had a lovely time in Sardinia, but for what it's worth we think the Tuscan landscape is hard to beat and that's where we will now always have a special connection to, and Villa Dianella too of course. The lavendar room should be re-named the Collins Suite!!!!!

Dear Mascia & Chiara,

Well what can we say, they say that getting married is one of the three most stressful times of your life… This would have probably been the case had we not chose 'Your Special Happening' to organise our fairytale wedding in Florence. From helping us to complete all the paperwork which should have been relatively easy, except that it was disrupted by an Italian election which basically meant no Births, Marriages or Deaths could be registered. This caused our wedding to be nearly cancelled twice due to not having the correct documentation, which caused much anxiety, even then Mascia managed to work miracles to ensure we could get married.

Even though we chose our venue and catering team, with whom Mascia had ever worked with, she almost effortlessly managed to co-operate and co-ordinate with them in a highly professional and successful manner. And what can we say about the choice of the Cake and Floral decorations, we did not see them until our Wedding day and we and our guests were so amazed how beautiful they were. She managed to match perfectly our deepest thoughts and wishes.

And finally, we will never stop admiring the work of our photographer, or better: an artist, David Bastianoni who spent that day with us and made it unforgettable. We knew he was amazing from the very first picture he took, but only when we received our album, he showed us all his magic! Everyone who has seen our pictures were amazed. Most of them could compete for the page 1 in the best bridal magazines! Thank you Mascia and Thank you David!!!

There is not enough words to describe how amazing wedding planner your are! All our guests and family from around the world were admiring your professionalism and passion in organising this special event.

But most importantly Mascia, you are such a genuine and warm person.

On that day, you became my bridesmaid, sister and best friend...

Hi Chiara,

We would like to sincerely thank you and Mascia for arranging such a wonderful wedding. I truly felt like a Princess! The flowers, church, the flute & harpist who played in the church & the wedding reception at the Villa were all amazing, they exceeded way beyond my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, everybody commented on it. Everything went so smoothly the whole day was incredible and it was all down to you! We received our photo album & DVD, David the photographer is a genius, the photographs were beautiful they were so natural and protrayed our whole day from start to finish.

My guests were so impressed with the slideshow too not to mention the Villa itself! The band were brilliant, the Jazz singer Dianella sounded amazing and we loved the Irish T-shirts the DJ's wore for the occasion, my guests thoroughly enjoyed the music they played!
