From the very first time we met Chiara and Mascia we knew that we were dealing with the very best. Their energy, enthusiasm, creative spirit and work ethic helped create a real piece of magic in Tuscany that we know will never be forgotten.
The whole experience was an absolute joy to be part of, and we really looked forward to our planning meetings with Chiara and Mascia throughout the year. Any doubts and worries about details or logistics were eased away every time we talked to these two lovely talented ladies.
Our day could not have been any better – spectacular in every way. It went passed our wildest expectations and pretty much every single guest told us it was the best wedding they have ever attended! We absolutely recommend Happening, and also all of the suppliers that they intruded us to – they only work with the best, most passionate people. What a beautiful, beautiful day. Thank you so much.

At first we thought that the costs of using a wedding planner wer expensive but we found your assistance invaluable and we really won't have been able to make our day so special without your help!
We had the most truly amazing day of our lives and it was great to have met Mascia before the wedding to run through all the details and put our minds at rest. The whole service from Your Special Happening has been fantastic and always such speedy responses to the million and one questions we asked. We would definitely recommend you to anyone looking at married in Italy.
Both the venue for the ceremony and our reception party at Il Defizio couldn't have been any better at all. In fact we are hoping to return one day for our anniversary. All the staff at Il Defizio were exceptional and made our stay just outstanding.

We would like to thank yourself and Chiara for a fabulous wedding, the detail at the Church and Palazzo Corsini was really amazing and our guests were also over whelmed by it all. We loved the way the church had been decorated, so thank you both for making it look more magical and we are so pleased that Don Marian allowed us to marry in his Parish Church. Grande compliments to Convivium everyone enjoyed the food particularly the risotto and steak that was cooked to perfection! What can I say about the cake, it was very big and very beautiful...... but extremely yummy!!! All the flowers were fantastic, please send a big thank you to all at the florist, we were so happy with all the displays. I was a little sad at the end of the night when I went back to the table for my bouquet, it had already been cleared away! I will remember how beautiful they looked always for sure. Your guest book was a great idea and lots of people wrote in wonderful comments. Thank you

Dear Chiara and Mascia,
Thank you very much for being our wedding planners for our wedding day!!! We're so lucky to have found you to organise our wedding ceremony and reception in Florence!
Both of you always replied our numerous emails quickly. We're so impressed that you're both detail-minded, well-organised and are good listeners who responded positively to our special requests!
All my guests (most of them came to Florence for the first time) were very happy with the arrangements for our wedding ceremony and really enjoyed the day. They are still talking about the amazing live classical music, the beautiful red hall, our stunning Rolls Royce wedding car, the lovely decoration for the church and the reception ....etc.
Daniel from David Bastianoni, that you introduced to us, is a funny guy with very good personality, did an awesome job in taking our wedding video!! And they delivered our wedding day video CD much earlier than expected after the wedding! We will send him a thank you card separately soon!
We love the hotel for evening reception so much and were glad that it'd stopped raining before we got to the hotel and therefore could enjoy the very beautiful panoramic view of Florence city.
We'd received some pics of our wedding day recently and therefore have attached the one we love very much to you. Also, we will upload more of our wedding day pics on FB soon and you're welcome to see our pictures!
We will definitely wanna go to Florence again in near future, perhaps next year when it comes to our 1st anniversary. Hope you will have time to meet us up at that time.
And we would love to recommend you to our friends if any of them wanna go to Italy for getting married in future! ^_^

Dear Mascia and Chiara!
How are you doing? How is Mascia? I hope this summer was really happy for you as it was for us:)
I'm writing to say thank you from both our families and all our friends! The wedding we organized together was a dream! I'm just back from Russia and my parents are watching the video and the pictures every evening... They can't stop saying that was the best wedding they've ever seen in their life. The same for Antonio's parents and friends:)
I know it was not the easiest task to work with a Russian girl like me:) And I can tell you are very professional in everything, especially in finding the best solutions and ideas for any pretentious client. I'm so grateful to you for every single step we did together, for all your help and contribution. You have the unique taste, which I could always rely on.
Now, 5 months after the wedding, I think I've accumulated all the opinions from our friends and relatives and I completely agree with them all: THAT WAS FANTASTIC! Everything... Starting from the meal, the atmosphere, the decorations and then the music (thank you for giving me freedom of choice!) and the cake and sweets! I regret so much I didn't have a chance to try the cake, but everybody said that was the most delicious one they'd ever had. I'm sure it was! Thank you also for the design of the cake you managed to realize (I know that was a crazy idea:)), and I noticed only a week ago that the colours of Russian flag were put wrong.. So practically I became a French wife, haha :))
I'd like to say special "thank you" to videographer. He managed to catch the most important details and the best of the day. The video is better than I could dream! That was definitely a good choice:)
May all the weddings you organize in the future be like a dream! You are so special! I remember the day your web-site hooked me up:) And I can say that behind this web-site there is a team, which can make any dream come true.

The weather was perfect, Certaldo was more amazing than you described, the music and flowers were fabulous. We were very happy with the gracious staff and fabulous lodging and food at the Podere Jana. The photos with David were unbelievable. We can't stop looking at the pictures because they bring back such happy memories.
Planning a destination wedding from abroad is very challenging. We didn't know what to expect and had to take a leap of faith that your company would provide the services we needed, and would meet and exceed our expecations. We were so pleased that we made the right choice by planning our wedding with you. We would highly recommend your company for any couple looking to have the most amazing Italian wedding! Ciao!!
At last just a few words to try to convey our thoughts about our wedding in August.
We initially contacted you early in the New Year and you VERY quickly answered all our initial questions and asked some of your own!
We - eventually - answered your questions, then you sent us the most amazing selection of properties!
E mails flew back and forth - speedily from Italy but much slower from the UK and we eventually met in late January - even coming to collect us from a local supermarket when we were hopelessly lost - again. You took us back to your office and plied us with beautiful Italian coffee and you organised your baker to make us some pastries.
That day was the start of a memorable friendship as you took us all over Tuscany. The dedication to your business is astounding. The liaison between you and the properties that you use and the people that you use to help with all of your clients demands are all fantastic.
You sorted all our paperwork out and when we came back just to have a 'last look' in May, we were so late yet you still looked after us and introduced us to your Mother! On our list over that weekend was our opportunity to visit the caterers. As we were running so late, we ended up visiting them at 18.30 - this should have been around 16.00! The care and attention that we received at such a late time was well beyond the call of duty!
I also seem to remember that you even put back your visit to see about little Caterina!
The day dawned in late August and after a little sprinkling of rain, the sun came out and everything that you had organised worked just as we had discussed with you.The setting of Certaldo was perfect, the harpist - playing everything we asked - even Stairway to Heaven! - the photographer - see the attachments!
As for Borgo Gallinaio - what a setting! All our friends loved our choice - which we have to put down to you guys! - Alessandro and his wife could not do enough for us - from staying up on the Friday evening after the BBQ to make sure that we did not need anything, to being there to greet us at breakfast time! To stealing a dance with my wife and just generally ensuring that we did not need anything at any time of the day or night! He even came to find Trisha to tell her not to worry about the clouds and the few spots of rain as he had checked the computer to check that the sun was going to return! It did!
There are a lot of words that are 'overused' in this day and age, but this one word truly describes how our wedding was......
FANTASTIC!

I just want to say thank you for making our wedding happen just as we wanted it - from start to finish you helped us every step of the way - it was amazing how it all came together with your guidance and support - you became our friends (even meeting Mascia's Mother!) and on the day itself you were both waiting to meet me as I arrived. Having Mascia as translator, smiling all the time, was simply wonderful and made our day so personal and very special. Thank you both - if I look back and remember.....I wouldn't change a thing - it was perfect!
Thank you and your team - who were fantastic. It all couldn't have gone better and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change one thing - it was perfect - and you made it so!
It was also just so lovely to have you there as our translater - it was so personal and so nice to be 'married' by a 'friend'. I hope that when Al and I return to Tuscany each year - which we have promised each other we will - we can meet up with you and take you out for meal and meet your little girl!

Try planning a wedding from the Middle East then move to Asia half way through the planning. Your Special Happening understood the type of wedding we wanted and delivered a professional, stunning, “everything we could have wished for wedding”
We chose Tuscany and opted for a rustic, intimate wedding in Certaldo with our reception at La Canonica which also provided the accommodation for our 60 guests.
YSH has fantastic suppliers who they clearly have an excellent working relationship with. Any details or changes we had to our day were handled efficiently and explained thoroughly. If you want to plan a wedding in Italy and live thousands of miles away, we cannot think of a better company to do it with.
