Rome

Rome is the eternal city and it is the perfect location for your wedding. A wedding in Rome is one of the most romantic experience you can have.

In Rome there is no need to search for beauty… Rome is a coffer full of every sort of art’s treasures… a blend of artistic and architectural masterpieces, classical ruins, and extravagant baroque churches and piazzas….such as Piazza Navona, the Trevi fountain, the famous Spanish steps, the Coliseum and last but not least the Vatican palace residence of the Pope.

But Rome is also “la dolce vita” a unique sensation that you can feel in the colourful typical trattoria and streets of Trastevere and strolling around the city.

Civil Ceremony

The Campidoglio Wedding Hall

Civil weddings can be performed at the famous Campidoglio situated in the hearth of the town, among the most beautiful and impressive monuments of Rome as the coliseum and the roman forum. The Campidoglio is one of the historical seven hills of Rome and in earliest times was the epicentre of the Roman Empire.

The ceremonies take place in a palace which is the seat of the civil administration of the city since the 12th century. The marriage hall is Renaissance style with period furniture and rich tapestries and can hold large number of guests. Wedding days only during the week.

The Terme di Caracalla Wedding Hall

The Terme di Caracalla are the most beautiful and luxurious public bath of the towering ruins of ancient rome. The name comes from their inaugurateur Marcus Aurelius Antonius Caracalla in 217.

The civil ceremonies take place in a restored Roman Monastery inside this ancient bath complex. The marriage hall can hold a large number of guests. Wedding days only during the week.

The Villa Lais Wedding Hall

Villa Lais is  another beautiful location for civil weddings in Rome, the marriage hall is a little chapel of the 19th century with frescoes and antique furniture. The hall is small and intimate and you have the possibility to exchange your vows, take your time for photos and to listen the sweet sounding of a violin that is always an advisable background.

Religious Ceremony

Catholic Church 1

Beautiful church situated in the hearth of the historical centre of Rome, inside the Forum (now called via dei Fori Imperiali) next to the Coliseum. It was built in the second half of the 10th century and occupied part of the site of the old temple of Venus. The tower, is a characteristic sample of a medieval Roman campanile. Notable features of the interior, which is richly adorned with marble stucco and pictures, are the Confession, the apse mosaic and the 6th century Madonna on the high altar.

Catholic Church 2

Marvellous church constructed between 817 and 824, on the site of an earlier fifth century building. It is situated in “Trastevere”. It has a vast courtyard and garden in front. The facade by Ferdinando Fuga is eighteenth century style, with a beautiful medieval doorway and a twelfth-century bell-tower. Inside there are three naves and the famous statue of Saint Cecilia, created in the seventeenth century by Stefano Maderno. Upon the altar stands a gothic tabernacle by Arnolfo di Cambio.
