The borough of Vinci is situated in the heart of Tuscany a few kilometres from Florence, a stone's throw from Pisa, and within an hour's drive from Lucca and Siena.

Vinci is the home town of the inventor Leonardo da Vinci. This Medieval town lies in the heart of the most verdant countryside and it surrounded by a landscape with magical and enchanted atmospehere. In the centre of the town you can see the beautiful Conti Guidi Castle commonly known as "The Ship's Castle", due to its long shape and to the tower which recall the outline of a sailing-boat. Inside the castle there are fine frescoes, sculptures of the various coats of arms, which evoke the former podestà, and Giovanni della Robbia's splendid ceramic "The Madonna and Child".

In winter time civil ceremonies are performed in a beautiful, ancient room located inside the Medieval Conti Guidi castle. While with the good season, Vinci Town Hall offers the unique option to get married outdoors, on the top of a hill, in front of the house where the inventor Leonardo da Vinci was born. The setting of the ceremony is amazingl, among the olive trees or in the court of the house. You can enjoy a gorgeous panorama.

Catholic ceremonies can be celebrated in a beautiful church located in the historical centre of the town in a panoramic position. Leonardo Da Vinci was baptised in that church.
