Mascia made our wedding a hundred times easier that it would have been if we had tried to arrange it all on our own. The venue, the church, the photographer, the food, the transport, the paperwork and a load of other things were all arranged through Mascia and her contacts in Italy. Mascia even managed to make the sun come out after our wedding. We had a fantastic time.
The church in Vinci is superb and the food at the Borgo dei Lunardi was wonderful. Compared to a wedding in England we thought it was good value for money as well. We certainly recommend it.

We cannot thank Mascia and Chiara enough for all they did to make our wedding in Certaldo in June so perfect. They arranged everything and were so helpful and lovely! Nothing was ever too much trouble. Even the paperwork we had to complete with the Italian, Irish and New Zealand embassies wasn't too stressful with Mascia's guidance and advice. I think what pleased us the most was that even though it was a simple ceremony with just the two of us present, Mascia made us feel as important as if it was a wedding with a hundred people! Anyone planning to get married in Tuscany should contact Mascia at Happening - you will be so happy you did!

Carissima Mascia,
domani sono 4 settimane che siamo sposati ma i ricordi di quel giorno rimangono vivi!
......Pamela e' stata grande perche' non e' andata via fin quando non era pronta. E' una grande professionista, molto brava e paziente e mi ha calmato molto prima che andassimo via per Pontignano. Mi manchera'...ne trovassi una cosi' brava qui in Olanda!
.......i fiori erano stupendi e la Chiesa molto molto intima! Pamela e' stata molto contenta delle roselline per l' acconciatura perche' le ha trovate perfette...Anche i centrotavola erano bellissimi!
........La musica durante la cerimonia e' stata apprezzata moltissimo e da tutti: sono state tutte e due molto brave
.......Poi le foto con David: non mi stanchero' mai di ripeterlo. Oltre ad essere bravissimo, e' una persona eccezionale! Ha cercato di metterci a nostro agio, ma per noi scambiarci effusioni di fronte ad una macchina fotografica e' molto difficile...nonostante tutto cio' sono venute fuori belle foto
poi il servizio del Convivium e' stato ottimo: erano molto professionali ma al tempo stesso anche alla mano, quando le persone chiedevano le ricette e si poteva scherzare tranquillamente...il capo sala e' molto in gamba... i bambini mangiavano e correvano, si formavano gruppetti anche tra italiani ed olandesi, quindi tutto fantastico!
... tutti hanno apprezzato la musica in giardino e durante il taglio della torta...eric ed io non riusciamo a ricordare nemmeno un pezzo suonato sia fuori che dentro...ti senti come ''ubriaca'' tutto il pomeriggio e sera
il taglio della torta e' stato anche bello ed il tipo di torta scelto e' stato apprezzato da tutti!
lo slide show commovente, inaspettato da tutti gli ospiti ed osservato in grande silenzio, con un fantastico applauso alla fine,soprattutto per david...
poi il dj, che ha messo su l' unica canzone su cui volevamo ballare e poi il nostro cd (secondo me ci ha preso per pazzi)
mi dimentico di qualcosa? vediamo vediamo...ovviamente no! a parte tutti i ringraziamenti per david, pamela, gianluca, don Brunetto, il convivium, chiara ed il trio jazz, un grande grande grazie a te Mascia perche' sei sempre stata disponibile ad ascoltare cio' che ci piaceva, i nostri desideri per questo giorno cosi' particolare, la tua precisione ed il tuo intervento sempre al momento giusto per risolvere qualunque questione, anche ameno di una settimana dal matrimonio, tipo per la musica ed il dj. Ed a parte la professionalita', sei una carissima ragazza!

How are you keeping. I'd say you'r so busy with weddings at the moment. It won't be too long till your big day. Are you getting married on Dec 26th? I'm just writing to let you know that we received our Wedding Album from David Bastianoni. Well what can I say. It is absolutely fantastic. We are so delighted with it. The quality of his work is sensational. He, like yourself were so professional in carrying out your work in making the day so special for Caitriona & Myself. The little replicate albums, calendar & slide show with music that he made for us are so beautiful. All our friends and family are overwhelmed at the quality of his work. He has totally blown them away. They have never seen an album like his before. He really captured great memories of our special day that Myself & Caitriona along with our families will treasure forever. Can you please tell him that we are so grateful and overwhelmed with his work.
Our wedding day was nearly 2 months ago now. What an amazing day you gave us Mascia. All our Irish guests were completely gob-smacked and amazed at the day which you and your team at Your Special Happening arranged for us. They can't stop talking about it. One couple at our wedding actually got engaged the day after our wedding day and are seriously thinking of having their wedding in Tuscany and they said if they were going to have it there they definitely would employ you and your team. Everything from the start to the finish of the day was perfect. Caitriona & Myself personally would certainly 100% recommend you and your team to cater for any wedding. How are you keeping?
I am going to take this opportunity to thank yourself & Mascia again for all you did for myself & Jim on our wedding day. The day was truly wonderful thanks to both of you!
The ceremony was very personal and everyone felt very relaxed.
The String quartet were fantastic and played beautiful music. They made the day very romantic and all our guests commented on how well they played.
The drinks reception at the "cafe rivoire" was perfect where the guests could enjoy the views of the square. The Villa was a perfect setting for our main reception. A real life fairytale. Everything ran so smoothly there thanks to the hard work both of you put in. The flowers were absolutly beautiful. We loved them. They were just what I was looking for.
As for the catering what can we say? The food was gorgeous! The waiters so professional! The evening at the villa was just amazing. Everyone had a fabulous time. The meal was the nicest meal we had ever had!! All the guests loved the food which was so tasty. Things could not of gone better and thanks to Mascia who was running around backstage ensuring everything was just perfect. Thank you Mascia.
The DJ played great music and we all had lots of fun dancing into the early hours.
David our photographer was fantastic, extremely professional and patient. He made us feel so at ease and he took amazing photos!! We have never looked as good!!!! It was great having a sneek preview of the pictures on his lap top later in the evening at the villa. We can't wait to see the album and the disc.
All in all we had a wonderful day! The second best in our lifes!(after Emilie was born of course) We put our trust in Mascia & Chiara and they came up thrumps! Thank you both so much for everything.
Most of our guests had never been to Florence before and they were blown away by the whole experience. They are still talking about it!! It will be the talk of Dungarvan for a long time.
I hope if either of you visit Ireland you will get a reception as warm as the one you both gave.
